Witch Aleana of Nordir is the daughter of Ysadorra and the niece of High Witch Ysabella of Eirei.
After the death of her mother when Aleana was just a child, her aunt adopted her and turned her into a High Witch's apprentice. The training was brutal, for Aleana was expected to follow her aunt's footsteps as adviser to a King. When it's time for her to receive her Leaning (her expertise), she unexpectedly got what she doesn't want the most.
With everything seemingly laid out for her at an early age, Aleana felt like the life she had chosen, that of an exile, was finally her own, but she might not escape what's already in her blood.
